Sweet Pea Wreath quilt block

Sweet Pea Wreath
July 5, 1933- The Sweet Pea Wreath was the quilt block of the day for Nancy Cabot eighty years ago.

"The fragile blossoms of the "Sweet Pea Wreath" may be cut from any of the powdery pastel tints. The vines, leaves and curlicue tendrils of each block should be of the same green tone," she wrote.

Nancy's Sweet Pea Wreath pattern can be seen here.  Her quilt pattern called for an 18" block. This is another pattern that Nancy may have published at another time. Once again, the writing on the pattern is not the same as was written in her Chicago Tribune newspaper column.

Since this is an applique pattern, I did not make it.

I was not able to find any quilts made with this design. Here's what Nancy Cabot's Sweet Pea Wreath quilt might look like if made as instructed in her pattern-
